I
had an A2 in bad shape & I opted for an old Encore Body and put parts
from the A2 to make the Mutt like the one I had in the Ranger BN. I
know some diehard’s don’t like this, but I wanted it to be a family
daily driver. The parts I have received from John are first class!
Everything is a Mutt, eng trans etc. Greg.

1953
M38a1 Looking
better with some paint tossed on. Dropped in a stock engine borrowed from
the 1954 M38a1 to test out axles. Stock engine was then pulled and a pinto
engine coupled to a scout tranny/transfer case was installed. At that time
a stock power pack could not be found and the frame had been tortured with
bad welding and strange modifications over the years. Webmaster Don

Previous
owner had cut out all 4 fenders to make room for large tires on chrome
rims. Plus, large high back red fuzzy seats. Ugg! His sales pitch was the
jeep could drive over fallen trees. I think the poor trees ran when they
saw his ugly jeep coming... Webmaster Don Roberts Photo
